  • “This is a keeper. What took this gem so long to be reviewed?I selected this for a Tag game out of sheer curiosity, and I’m sure glad I did.Everyone in my family enjoyed it.We had it over buttered egg noodles. My husband suggested it might be good with a nice cut-up tri-tip or something along that line.So next time—and there will definitely be a next time–maybe I’ll venture off the path and try a choice cut of beef. But even with ground beef, this is really a delicious dish.Everyone should try it at least once.Talk about comfort food.Yum Yum!”

  • “I adore Lucille Ball so the name of this recipe caught my eye first. After reading how easy and tasty this sounded had to give it a try. Did make a couple substitutions because I didnt check what I had in the pantry very well. :(Used ground chuck, a large red pepper, tomato sauce instead of tomato juice, and petite diced tomatoes instead of whole tomatoes. Added rotini pasta noodles and really liked that it didnt have to be cooked first. Stirred in about 1/2 cup water to thin down the sauce a little and let simmer. DH had two helpings and even ate leftovers which he rarely does. This is a recipe that could be made inmany different ways by adding different seasonings, cheese, V8 juice also. Will make this again! Made and reviewed for PAC 2013.”

  • “This was god, and I loved the fact that I didn’t have to boil the noodles first. A tad boring though, so I added some tomato pate and some dried basil to perk it up a bit. Also, I threw in some frozen peas. Thanks for posting! Made for Spring PAC 2013”
