Mixed Metals Javelina Necklace by RestringIt
125,00 USD
This pendant features an infant javelina handsawn from brass, with an acid etched copper, herringbone pattern background. I have actually used rivets to hold pieces together and strengthen the connection of the chain. The pendant determines 2 3/4 inches large by 2 1/4 inches tall. Prickley pear cacti, a favorite source of food for javelina, have actually been hand sawn in copper, stamped, and dangle like tassels from the base. The chain measures 37 inches long, as it is, however I enjoy to reduce it upon demand. Two handsawn flowers with light blue centers decorate the chain at various spots and produce an intriguing boutiquish appearance. This is a very sweet piece and among my all time favorites, from the Southwestern desert.
