  • “5 stars for cuteness! I love this idea. I thought that toasting the bread would make it crispy, but the milk-paint stayed wet, however my 1 1/2 year old ate it all up anyway. Very sweet idea. I will probably be making these again for a fun project!”

  • “What a cute idea for the kids!! Thanks, I’m going to make this with a very special kid I know who will be visiting me today, tomorrow and day after:-)”

  • “My grandmother made a variation of this (without the food coloring) when we were sick. She called it milk toast. She toasted the bread and put it in a bowl. She then warmed some milk and poured it over the toast and sprinkled on a little sugar and ground nutmeg.MMMMM!I used to FAKE a sore throat for this!”
