  • “Thanks for an outstanding recipe. I added 1 tsp garlic powder, to adjust to our taste. Ease of preparation also figured into my 5 star rating. I like to use hoememade and dry mixes that I have made, in my cooking. Thanks again for a great recipe.jim in wasington”

  • “This is great. I divided the rice into 1 cup portions instead of 1 1/3 cups since that made way too much. Just cut the water back to 2 1/4 cups. Also, I divided the seasonings by 4 and added them to the bags individually to make sure they all had even amounts. Thanks for the recipe. I plan to make the chicken and the curry mixes over the next few days.”

  • “I was looking for a flavored rice..normally I would just put buttor or margarine on my rice, but I am out of both..so I was trying to figure out how I could have rice without either of those. I typed in flavored rice and this is one of the first recipes that came up. Nice flavor and it couldn’t have been easier..I will be trying your other flavored rice mixes too!! Thank you!!”

  • “Pretty good rice…easy side dish. And likely healthier than prepared from a box. May make again.”

  • “VERY GOOD!!! THANK YOU!!! I just made it as a side dish tonight… didn’t save it.It wouldn’t stay in the cupboard long enough!”

  • “This was tasty ( I also added garlic) and most importantly, this comes out a lot cheaper than buying already prepared rice mixes and you can adjust how much soup mix to add to the rice for those of us watching our salt intake.”

  • “This was easy to mix together using ingredients I keep in my pantry. It was pretty tasty too!I might add the garlic as Jim in Washington suggested as I am a garlic lover.Thank you for sharing your recipe Charlotte J!”
