Paraiba Tourmaline Slice 10x7mm by yvonneraley
501,00 USD
Saw this paraiba piece at my paraiba dealership’s last time I existed. Costs a lot less than the faceted, and even the cabs, and this piece is really clean for a piece. I strongly suggest setting it versus white metal though or it will look washed out. One alternative is cutting a plate and soldering 4 prongs onto it, therefore prong setting it. Or back-setting it in a bezel, implying the bezel wall will not be pushed over the stone (when the sides are irregular it can break).
So here are the specs:
Forming: Oval
Size: 9.86 x 6.53 x 2.45 mm
Weight: 1.67 Cts
Origin: Paraiba mines, Brazil
Treatment: might be lightly oiled
Color: turquoise and green
Per carat cost: $ 300
cost of gem: $ 501
You have a 2 week inspection period with any of my gems (you have to take a look at it to be sure you desire it), during which I will take it back, no questions asked.
Customized orders (ring or pendant) are non-refundable, nevertheless.
