This suncatcher or ornament is a paramecium made from fused glass.
Paramecia are single-celled organisms well-known in biology labs and class.
The ornament is strong glass, 4 inches long (10.2 cm). I connected a loop of blue ribbon for hanging. The background glass, other than for the information, is clear, not blue – the blue you see is the background.
The paramecium in the pictures is a representative sample. The one you receive will be basically the exact same, except for the very small differences that are characteristic of handmade items.
