These wall hangings are created utilizing Tapestry Crochet for the background. Tapestry Crochet is similar to regular crochet, except that 2 or more strands are operated at the same time to develop a vibrant material. The colours not being utilized are carried along the top of the previous row. Double (US-single) crochet stitches are worked as you would usually, through both loops of the previous row and over the top of the carried colours.
The flowers utilize flower shops wire and wadding to develop a 3-D effect and are appliquéd to the background.
