Hi, here’s a good little bundle which contains: 3 paperclip/ bookmarks, 1 pen and a very quite hinged “Trinket Box” which is signed and performed in one of my Millefiori designs. This is a Millefiori polymer clay walking stick covered hinged tin that determines 3-7/ 8 “throughout (delegated right) 2-3/ 8” front to back and 7/8 “top to bottom when closed. It can sit on your desk or dresser and be useful by holding odds and ends, great for quilters and those who sew, or simply sit and be very.

I believed that if you did have this resting on your desk or work area … then you ought to have a couple of clips which can be needed for bookmarks. Along with a refillable pen (instructions for filling up will certainly be sent out together with your trinket box) Ohhh … there is also a border of small leaves all around the leading edge of the box.

Millefiori suggests “one thousand flowers” … I do not think this piece has that many flowers in it (I understand it has that many walking stick parts though)! Just like the Venetian Millefiori method with glass I take raw polymer clay and design each of those little small flowers and leaves into exactly what’s called “walking canes” from the clay. From my canework I then take thin pieces off the canes and use those wee tiny pieces onto my piece, then it is baked, sanded several times and then rubbed to a soft shine that I such as then finally a protective coat of baked on sealer is used.

If you’re believing “My Gosh that’s a horrible great deal of work that enters into this piece!” Yes it is, but I like doing it which saying about “time flies when you’re having fun “is truly true! Ha ha ha
