St Patrick was born in Britain around 380. As a teen he was abducted by pirates and sold into slavery in Ireland where his owner put him to work tending the sheep. It was a lonesome job, and Patrick counted on God to throughout this time and developed a strong faith. He left his master and caught a ship back to Britain where he ended up being a priest. After ending up being a bishop he volunteered to return to Ireland to teach individuals there about Christianity since he spoke their language and understood their customizeds. He is credited with many miracles and is especially remembered for driving the snakes from Ireland. During the 33 years he existed, he converted the entire nation.
This medal reveals St Patrick with his arm raised in true blessing. It was cast from a classic medal in my collection so it shows all the wear of the original piece. It’s been tumbled for resilience and oxidized to give it an aged patina. It is made from sterling silver and will come with a coordinating holy card in an organza gift bag, so it’s all set to give as a present to another person or yourself
Size: A little under 3/4 inch
Material: Sterling silver. All chains are sterling silver also.
