I make the ring band by hand using conventional silversmithing methods from 2mm wide round sterling silver wire which is slim but strong enough for using daily. The round wire is really comfy to wear and is polished for a high shine. The setting is formed like a small crown and firmly holds the opal in place.
The opal is artificial so is harder using than natural opals. It is white with pretty flashes of pale pinky lilacs and minty aquas when it catches the light.
The opal is the birthstone for October and symbolises hope and best of luck.
Each ring is shipped in a tough ring box, prepared to provide as a gift (or keep on your own!)
