Sugared Pecans

  • Ingredients

  • 3cupssugar
  • 6tablespoonsmargarine
  • 1cupevaporated milk
  • 3 -4cupspecan halves
  • Directions

  • Mix sugar, margarine and milk into pot. Cook untilmixture reaches soft ball stage (234 degrees) and forms a ball in acup of cold water.
  • Remove from heat. Add pecans.
  • Stir untilall pecans are well coated.
  • Pour onto waxed paper.
  • Separatepecans into individual pieces, using 2 tablespoons.
