My son (now 20 years old) still talks about his superhero cape and how it made his childhood that much sweeter. Capes are made of poly satin. We do not skimp on fabric which is doubled (lined) with a velcro closure for a more realistic and professional look and the emblem on the back is made of eco felt and is stitched to the fabric. Capes are machine washable cold water, delicate cycle. Air dry, iron low setting approprite for fabric.
