They measure approximately 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches (8.5 x 4cm) and have a traditional 1 inch steel brooch attaching securely glued onto the back.

All my brooches are one of a kind, made from collaging numerous bits of classic paper onto off-cuts of wood and board that otherwise would be gotten rid of. Each brooch is offered between 2-3 coats of varnish for protection and an incredibly shiny surface. They have been known to survive journeys in the cleaning machine, although such experiences are not recommended: D
