A classic 70s Gunne Sax dress featuring 2 quite floral cotton prints, princess line fitted bodice with dip at front midsection, stand up lace collar, long sleeves with collected cap, 2 side seam pockets and delicately gathered skirt with lower flounce. Center front bodice features lace inset underneath lace up information. Satin ribbon and lace trim are the rich decorative information. Rear zip closure below 2 pearl like cream buttons and material loops at collar back. Appealing tie belt bow at rear waist.
Dress has actually been hand washed and prepares to use.
CONDITION —– Great/ fair vintage
– ——————— Small blue bleeding on the satin ribbon. Not that noticeable
———————- Satin ribbon is a little worn on bodice front, on left side near shoulder, ideal side vertical ribbon near waist and 2 1/2 and 7 1/2 ins. up from waist. No holes or tears, but pulled threads and used threads. images # 2 and 5
——————— Lower section of lace inset under lace up is lined. The lining is used and raveled at sides where sewn, approximate length is 1 1/2 inch. Currently this flawed area of lining is not obvious when used. This area of lining could be cut out for a peekaboo result or could be change. A slip could likewise be used to hide the skin.
