Right here’s a classic belt from Mexico. The toffee colored leather is top stitched with a leather covered back buckle and connecting links. The belt buckle is made in Mexico of Mexican silver. The fastening showcases the feathered serpent (Quetzalcoatl) holding a frame with the initials MCM (Mexico City, Mexico) engraved on the center guard with a crown above it. The frame is flanked by the Mayan calendar and a golden eagle. The buckle is engraved in a tooled leather style – very ornate.
Condition: This belt has actually been well worn and is extremely flexible. I have actually used leather conditioner and enabled it to soak in for a couple of weeks prior to I took the photos.
