A beautiful ring made using a vintage glass fire opal. These opals were man-made, circa 1950'' s. They have that “”fire”that catches the light and actually “”glows”when the stone is turned. Some fire opals have a “”haze”over the top of the stone, offering them a milky appearance, and when the stone is turned, the colors pop. The cloud or “”haze”makes them resemble opals.

I'' ve hand-set each vintage glass cabochon in a silver lacy setting and protected it to a high quality, silver plated brass ring base. Ring quickly adapts to fit ANY ring size from 6-10. The vintage fire opal determines 10x8mm in size. Since no 2 opals are ever exactly alike, kindly permit slight variations from stone to stone. These are NOT authentic opals, mined from the Earth. But, these are excellent alternatives for those who like the color and fire of an opal.
