Vintage Vernon Kilns Lei Hawaiian Flowers Large Chop Plate – Don Blanding Dinnerware Aloha Transferware – 12 Inch Round Meat Serving Platter by BarkingSandsVintage
88,00 USD
Vernon Kilns slice plate in the ‘Hawaiian Flowers’ pattern designed in 1937 by artist and poet Don Blanding. A chop plate is a big round plate often made use of to serve meats. On the ‘Ultra’ form with a smooth rim, transfer printed in maroon and off white glaze.

Procedures about 12 1/4 inches diameter. Printed marks on reverse, probably 1940s (this pattern was produced from 1937 into the 1950s).
General condition is very great, with no chips, fractures or crazing to the glaze. A few extremely light surface area scratches to the plate, a little smudge of maroon under the glaze on the rim and a tiny bump under the glaze on the plate surface area – all extremely basic for this pattern.
