Trying to find an unique little gift a graduate? A traveler who journals or checks out? A wanderer? My beaded book thongs are called ‘BeautyMarks’, i.e. ‘Stunning bookmarks’. A book thong is a bookmark that tucks into the edge of your book with the beaded ends looking from the leading and the bottom of the book or can be utilized as a journal marker as seen in among the photos. It can be tied to a testimonial mirror and probably serves more purposes that the recipient can find.
This one is appropriate for a guy or lady. An antique nickel tag with the word ‘Roam’ is connected to one end and an oblong betel nut bead on the other. It is surrounded by all natural beads of wood, bone and salwag nut in ivory, black and mossy green. The beads are strung on moss green waxed cord, twice as secured with crimp beads on the ends and then hand-knotted. It will fit books up to 9.5 & quot; & quot; long, the whole piece determining about 12-13 & quot;& quot;.
My book thongs are all set for gift-giving, connected to a card then packaged in a polyethylene sleeve to secure them during delivery. The sleeve has a hole at the top so you can connect a ribbon to it or tie it on to another gift (a book maybe!)
