Rustic and smooth, these graceful white stone earrings are made up of jasper drops and oxidized silver.
The jasper drops have subtle brown and corrosion striations and are ensconced in smooth Thai Hillside People silver cones. Both are wire-wrapped to my own cold created French-style ear wires, hammered gently for strength.
Metal components are sterling silver, with the exception of the Hill People cones, which are 97.5-99 % pure silver. All have actually been oxidized, tumble hardened and hand polished to a soft ‘aged’ patina.
Total length from top of ear wire: approx 1 7/8 inches, or 4.7 cm.
