  • “How absolutely FABULOUS !!! I can’t believe this recipe has been posted since 2001, with no reviews. People just don’t know what they’re missing!! I made the recipe exactly as written, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I sealed the perforations in the dough, and piled on my banana filling. When I pulled it out of the oven, it was a beautiful sight!! This is the perfect way to end any meal, and it just couldn’t get any easier. A real 5 star winner; thank you for this great dessert !!Teresa”

  • “Yummy!! Five stars for how easy this was and using ingredients I had on hand was a big plus.I get tired of banana bread when I need to use up bananas and this was soooooooooo beyond good! The kicker is I did not have plain caramel sauce, I had just bought this new “Milky Way” sauce that is a cross between caramel and milk chocolate sauce. Oh my, I was in heaven. I’m glad the rest of my family are not big banana lovers….(more for me !!)though they liked the dessert as well. Thanks for sharing, and thanks to Tgirl for bringing attention to this recipe!”

  • “I unfortunately had a lot of trouble with this recipe, and not because of poor directions or because it was difficult! My crescent rolls did not unroll properly (or really at all) and so I wasn’t able to just use the pre-made squares. Instead I just kneaded the dough together and rolled it out and made my own squares. For the banana mixture I added about 1/4 cup of dark rum which I thought added a great flavor. I also sprinkled the whole thing with cinnamon and sugar before baking. I baked mine for 16 minutes and they came out perfect. The longer cooking time could be due to the fact that my dough wasn’t consistent with the rolled out pieces had I been able to use them. I made KittenCal’s Homemade Carmel Sauce to put on top but unfortunately forgot to put in on when it was time to serve! I am sure this would have put this dessert over the top. I served warm with vanilla ice cream and it was a hit despite my road blocks. Thanks so much!”

  • “This was super easy and looked really nice.My sister, though, said she thought it tasted very fattening, but it didn’t taste wonderful enough to be worth its calories.Iagreed.She said she’d give it 3 stars. This is definitely a dish I’d only make for someone who LOVED bananas.”

  • “These were wonderful. I think that next time I will make sure that I have enough bananas to cover the whole rectangle even if that means using more than the recipe calls for. This is a terrific recipe that I will be passing on to family and friends.”

  • “My hubby loved this sweet treat.I prepared it just as written and topped each serving with a generous dollup of whipped cream.I think that it could easily be stretched to 8 servings by cutting the 4 crescent roll squares into 2 pieces.”

  • “This has been in my shopping list for a while now, and I finally got around to making it.All I can wonder is what took me so long???This was incredible and sooo easy and honestly one of the best desserts I have had in awhile.I used 2 bananas, but I had some left over, so I just heated them up in the microwave and ate those – a 5 star recipe all on it’s own.I also bought some caramel in a squeeze jar and it made it super easy to put the caramel on top.Fantastic, Mirj. Thanks for the recipe!”

  • “I prepared this exactly as directed except that I folded the crescents over in step 4 and pinched the seams shut (it seemed like it needed that and something was missing from the recipe). And also, before serving, I also dusted them lightly with powdered sugar along with the caramel. Altogether, this was very quick and simple to make, and the flavor was over the top. I’ll definitely make this again. Thanks for posting!”
