  • “Heavenly!!Just like you get in a restaurant, but better.Very thick at first, thins out as it sits in fridge.Made it to go with baked chicken wings recipe from this site, both recipes were just fantastic!”

  • “This turned out fantastic. I did use Roquefort (just preference) thinned it out with some fat free half and half. I also left out the dry mustard no reason except that I forgot it. Served this with wedge salads for dinner with bacon, onions and tomatoes. Yummy! Hubby says this is his new favorite dressing. Absolutely a new staple at our house!”

  • “This is the best Bleu Cheese dressing I have ever had! I have been making my own salad dressings for a while and was looking for a Bleu Cheese that didn’t taste predominantly of mayo and this one is it. Thanks so much for posting.”

  • “boy, I’m never buying the jarred stuff again. I do prefer mine a bit thicker, i added a inch of xanthan gum to thicken it up a bit.”

  • “LikeItLoveIt – This dressing is absolutely great!I had no sour cream, so I added buttermilk, instead.Fresh garlic and Dijon mustard are always in my kitchen, so they were also used.”

  • “Excellent dressing.Try adding a little lemon juice.”

  • “Five stars all the way! Great recipe, love it! Did not change a thing, have had it with wings and on salads – will be my go-to recipe from now on.”

  • “Delicious dressing! I’m pretty picky about my blue cheese dressing. I hate it when all I can taste is mayo. This dressing had a nice bright flavor. I do think the quality of blue cheese used makes a big difference in how flavorful the dressing will be. I added some dried minced onion and extra pepper. Thanks for posting the recipe.”

  • “My husband adores blue cheese dressing and I have always resisted because of the price of the cheese. On our last trip to Costco, I found a good sized package (not Roquefort) for around $6.I made this dressing for him and he is in love with it!Mine didn’t thin out, so maybe I got a little crazy with my ingredient amounts (I was slamming around in a big hurry).Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe! It’s a keeper–so simple and so good!”

  • “The recipe was easy to make, but I think it was missing a few ingredients — perhaps some onion? Thanks for sharing!”

  • “Likeitloveit,Made this for the second time today,I did add lemon juice as another reviewer discussed.it is delicious. Will be in my keeper file for future use, thanks…Don”

  • “A nice dressing, however I found the dry mustard taste to be a bit strong for our tastes so would reduce that to 1/4 tsp next time. I made this to serve alongside some buffalo style chicken.Thx.”

  • “This dressing really is the best.I absoultely love it.”

  • “This was wonderful! I made it to go with hot wings but also ended up using it for a salad and it was great both ways. I used a Danish blue cheese and used light sour cream and mayo. Thanks so much for the recipe!”

  • “wonderful”

  • “This is the best dressing of its kind I have ever put in my mouth, from a jar or from a restaurant. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you!”

  • “Wow!I CRAVE salad now with this dressing!I never buy store bought blue cheese dressing because it is just not very good. This dressing is AWESOME!YAY!”

  • “Great tasting dressing! Of course, italso has to do with the type of blue cheese you buy. I used Hannaford brand. (Aged over 60 days)”

  • “I have been looking for a good blue cheese dressing and I just hit the jackpot. This is fantastic;I wish I could give it 10 stars.Thank you so much for posting.”

  • “This was great! One of the best blue cheese dressings I have had!Changes were using 5 oz of cheese (the entire amount in the package!) and letting the dressing sit for 12 hours (there wasn’t enough time for 24).”
