  • “This was fabulous! It was easy to make and had a beautiful presentation.I put it in a classy serving bowl and saved some of the fresh basil to put on the top as garnish.Kids loved it, and ate a ton!”

  • “I didn’t have any sauce on hand, and needed something I could make quickly.I used dried basil and left out the jack cheese. No complaints from the kiddos, but if I am using it to feed all six of us again, I would double it.It wasn’t quite enough for everyone.Overall, very good! Thanks for posting.”

  • “I actually made this for my 1 1/2 year old son tonight, I took a bite and WOW! I wasn’t expecting it to be so good! I think it’s the cheeses that threw it over the top. I loved it so much that I got a bowl for myself. The only change I made was to add dried basil instead of fresh (I know, I know, but I didn’t have any) Well, it was great anyway. Thanks Er Be3!”

  • “This was really yummy in a comfort food sort of way.In fact, it was yummy enough that I recommend doubling it! I did change the recipe slightly. Since I did not have fresh basil, I used 1 tsp. dried instead. And I didn’t have an onion either so that was omitted entirely. The recipe came out great, anyway. One note of caution: you might want to add the cheese at the last minute, when the pasta and its sauce are already in the serving bowl.If you add the cheese to the sauce while the sauce is in its cooking pot, you risk creating a sticky nightmare (unfortunately, I know this from past experience). “
