The ring is quite old, and has some unusual features. The patterning playing around the front has used down some, but is still beautiful, and the band was a solid piece of sterling that was made into a split shank and has pattern inside and outside the band. The stone is held in location by a scalloped bezel that is so cool. Really unusual and cool. The stone measures 1 inch by 3/4 of an inch, and the setting is 1 1/4 by simply over 1 inch.
