Simple Hamburger Vegetable Soup

  • Ingredients

  • 1lbhamburger
  • 1quarttomato
  • 1/2 teaspoonthyme
  • 1 (14ounce) canscarrots, peeled and cut-up or 4fresh carrots
  • 1cupcelery
  • 1onion
  • 1/2 teaspoonbasil
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1 (8 3/4 ounce) cans corn
  • 1cuppotato, diced
  • Directions

  • Brown beef and onion.
  • Drain.
  • Combine everything in a large pot and simmer for about an hour.
  • Good soup to use leftovers in – beans, zucchini, etc. Very good the next day.
