The Music City & FP Me
Last Wednesday was one of my favorite days in a long time. It began at Free People Nashville, where we met with the store team and the 6 FP Me users who we would be shooting that day. The girls flitted about the store, picking out outfits and trying things on. Then, it was off to the 12 South neighborhood – a row of cool shops, coffee houses, and bars. We started out at picturesque Sevier Park, where the girls frolicked in the shade of the trees, keeping cool in the southern heat. We all felt an instant connection, as if we had known each other for years. I think we were all just so excited for the day ahead, and could feel in our bones how amazing it was going to be. We were buzzing with excitement, so happy to be in Nashville and to experience it together. After 12 South we made our way downtown to iconic Broadway and its rows of Honky Tonks. It was hot, but you’d never know it from looking at the smiles on everyone’s faces. Our photo shoot ended on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge, where we took in views of the city before bidding farewell for a couple of hours. We reconvened at Ruthie Lindsey’s home for our backyard dinner party, and by the end of the night our hunches were confirmed – it was a magical day, and it was one that we’ll never forget.
